Explore Vietnam! All aboard The Vietage
If you want to explore Vietnam in style, book yourself and your family on an ultimate luxurious train experience with The Vietage. Once onboard, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time, to the 1930s. This chic and elegant train is inspired by Art Deco-style, with hues of mahogany, and symmetrical designs throughout. The carriage boasts sleek-lined modern interiors, big windows for gazing at scenic views of the countryside and elegant, spacious comfortable seats.
Unwind and enjoy some drinks and food at the sit-up bar which offers a change of scenery and the chance to enjoy local craft beer, champagne, wine, and snacks over conversation with friends or loved ones. The main culinary experience begins back at your seat. You’ll get fine dining with all the fancy tableware on show and silver service treatment.
An exclusively curated menu evokes the essence of Vietnam with a French twist, through an explosion of creative flavours and local ingredients. Expect fine gastronomy. Try dishes such as Quy Nhon seafood salad, barley risotto and braised Wagyu neck that will excite plant, carnivore, and seafood lovers alike. Sweet endings come in the form of local Da Lat strawberries, passion fruit tart and a typical French-style crème brulée made with superior Dong Nai chocolate from Vietnam.
An à la carte menu also offers treats such as local caviar and the finest selection of both local and international cheeses, all available for pre-purchase. And if fine food wasn’t enough, guests can also enjoy massages on spa treatment chairs. They offer head and shoulder treatments on the go as the train passes through local villages, rural countryside and stops at a few stations on the way.
On The Vietage, you’ll travel into South Central Vietnam whilst being dazzled by panoramic views, connecting the cities of Da Nang and Quy Nhon. The custom-designed opulent carriage, with just 12 reservation-only seats, immerses its guests into the culture, nature, and the history of Vietnam through the stories of its daily return journey, heralding a new age of glamorous train travel.
This is undoubtedly the most luxurious means of travel when on a luxury adventure in Vietnam. We recommend you start the trip in bustling Hoi An for an experience of Vietnamese culture, heritage, art and street food. Then take this luxury train to Quy Nhon, an area known for its wild beaches, utter peace, and quiet, and beautiful, historic sights.
The Vietage has been developed by Anantara to introduce memorable journeys between Anantara Hoi An and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas for a unique Vietnamese luxury travel experience. Bear in mind, it’s a six-hour journey and guests get to encounter a plethora of taste sensations at the same time, as the countryside rolls by.
A one-way ticket aboard The Vietage costs US$185 per person, including a three-course, pre-ordered meal, free-flow wines, beers and soft drinks, bar snacks and a 30-minute head and shoulder treatment. The Vietage runs for eleven months each year, taking a break during the annual Vietnamese Tet holiday period.
