This spring, the enchantment of Disneyland Paris extends beyond the magic of its rides and stories to the exquisite realm of haute cuisine. Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert has unveiled his much-anticipated restaurant, La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert, within the recently reimagined Disneyland Hotel — offering a gastronomic journey where culinary artistry meets beloved Disney classics.
Unveiled on 7 March 2025, La Forêt Secrète is a personal tribute from Imbert, whose own childhood dreams were shaped by the worlds of Disney. “All the magic of the films I dreamt about comes to life here,” says the celebrated chef. “My childhood memories, particularly those from visiting the park, and my favourite films have profoundly influenced this restaurant. It is an honour to celebrate French gastronomy at Europe’s number one tourist destination.”
A Culinary Adventure Through Story and Flavour
Imbert invites guests into an enchanting woodland setting where the spirit of Disney’s most iconic tales is reimagined on the plate. Two menus — a five-course tasting and a three-course selection — are offered, marking the first time in his illustrious career that Imbert has also crafted a bespoke children’s menu.
Each dish draws inspiration from Disney’s most cherished films, blending French culinary artistry with storytelling flair. Diners may begin their journey Under the Sea — a vibrant seafood starter inspired by The Little Mermaid, featuring langoustines and shellfish in marinière style, crowned with caviar and delicate sea jelly.
In Mrs. Potts’ Brew, root vegetable ravioli is served in a warming truffle broth, a nostalgic homage to Beauty and the Beast. Guests can then voyage to the Middle East with Prince Ali’s Tagine, where a poultry ballotin stuffed with dates and dried fruits pays tribute to Aladdin.
Other highlights include the Caribbean Casserole — a nod to Pirates of the Caribbean — marrying Mediterranean red tuna with passion fruit vinaigrette and tamarind spices; Remy’s Ratatouille, an elegant expression of Provençal flavours; and Tony and Joe’s Spaghetti, a slow-cooked veal delight evoking the romantic spirit of Lady and the Tramp.
For younger gourmets, Imbert’s imaginative children’s dishes such as Fairy Godmother’s Soup, inspired by Cinderella, and The Lantern Festival fish and chips, inspired by Tangled, promise a culinary adventure of their own.

Sweet Conclusions Worthy of a Fairy Tale
The dessert menu, created in collaboration with pastry chef Axel Michenaud, continues the whimsical journey. Adults can indulge in creations like the Lost Ark Shortbread, a tribute to Indiana Jones, or the indulgent Mickey’s Soufflé — a rich Peruvian chocolate confection with hazelnut praline.
Meanwhile, children can savour delights such as Chip & Dale’s Hazelnut Ice Cream with warm chocolate foam or Little Jean’s Fruit Salad, a playful finish to their magical meal.
Accompanying the menu is an expertly curated wine and champagne list, showcasing the finest French vineyards from Burgundy, Alsace, and Bordeaux — a celebration of French viticultural heritage that mirrors the culinary artistry on offer.
An Immersive Woodland Retreat
More than just a dining experience, La Forêt Secrète is a visual and sensory escape. Guests are welcomed into a world where Murano glass chandeliers adorned with foliage and birds cast a golden glow over the central dining room. A hand-painted mural, depicting an infinite green forest, wraps the space in enchantment, while specially designed Bernardaud serving dishes and Christofle silverware add refined touches of craftsmanship and luxury.
Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, reflects on the partnership: “At Disneyland Paris, gastronomy is an essential expression of culture and the art of living. Through Jean Imbert’s bold creativity, we are offering our visitors a new, elevated way to continue their journey through the imagination — blending tradition, innovation, and the joy of discovery.”
