The Michelin Guide Dubai is a unique product and the first guide in the Middle East. The Michelin Guide Dubai sets an ambitious objective of highlighting the city’s spectacular culinary map, which has been enthusiastically welcomed by its passionate diners.

The Michelin Guide Dubai made its debut in the Middle East and a new way to discover the city’s culinary traditions. The much-anticipated restaurant guide for Dubai was officially launched at a gala dinner presented by Michelin at Meydan Beach resort and Spa on Monday 27th October 2019.

Michelin has revealed the selection of restaurants that will be included in the 2022 edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai, which will be the first-ever edition published in the United Arab Emirates. The guide will celebrate Dubai’s spectacular culinary map; and the unnamed inspectors for the Michelin Guide chose and recommended a total of 69 restaurants spanning 21 different categories of cuisine.

In the first edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai 2022, two restaurants have been awarded two Michelin Stars, nine restaurants have been awarded one Michelin Star, and fourteen restaurants have been awarded a Bib Gourmand. Our cuisine map covers the former two categories: everything from traditional and modern flavours through to exciting, new Asian influences. From the fascinating streets of Spice Market and Iskandar Promenade to the intimate atmosphere in the heart of Jumeirah and several beautiful open-air pavilions.

Michelin star chef Niko Romito is responsible for the creation of an innovative and traditional Italian concept that is unique to Il Ristorante. This idea interprets the exquisite flavours of Italy with a focus on contemporary yet simple dishes.
