In a world that often rushes forward, The Magic Collection Retreats invites us to slow down — to remember, to feel, to belong. Created by Mia Rigo Saitta and Alfredo Saitta, this constellation of homes across Megève, Milan, Forte dei Marmi, Ibiza, Geneva, and Florida isn’t a venture in luxury; it’s a living legacy — thirty-two years of love, creation, and the quiet art of giving.
Each house is more than a destination; it’s a vessel of memory. Within their walls, art, literature, and friendship breathe together — not preserved behind glass, but alive through the gestures and voices of those who once shared them. Soon, Magic Salento will join the family, extending this lineage of beauty into southern Italy’s sun-drenched coast.
From Collector to Custodian

The story of the Magic Collection began not with a business plan, but with a poem. It was Oriol’s “Despair of the Collector” that sparked a vow in Mia — a promise to protect the emotional life of art itself. From that vow grew Archivorum, a non-profit devoted to preserving artists’ voices and testimonies, ensuring that memory remains a living conversation between generations, not just a record of the past.
For Mia, hospitality and heritage are inseparable. To host is to remember. To curate is to care. Each space — whether a mountain chalet, a villa, or a city apartment — is shaped by the idea that beauty belongs to everyone willing to approach it with reverence.
Barefoot Luxury
To enter a Magic home is to step into a story. Shoes are left at the door, exchanged for soft slippers and the warmth of wooden floors.
This is barefoot luxury — comfort without pretense, where design is felt rather than displayed, and every object carries a memory. Tables still echo with laughter, cellars hum with the life of shared wine, and every book and sculpture whispers the presence of a friend.
Guests are not treated as clients but as part of the family. Hospitality here is an act of continuity — an offering that transforms private spaces into shared heritage.
A Family Devoted to Care

Mia’s roots are grounded in service and generosity. Her mother founded over twenty public libraries in Modena; her father, a doctor, dedicated his life to healing.
From them, she inherited the belief that beauty must be shared, not owned.
Together with her husband Alfredo, a passionate wine collector and host, Mia has cultivated a life that celebrates conviviality — dinners where art and laughter meet, and every glass poured becomes a small act of joy. Their homes smell of homemade cakes, aged books, and open hearts — a sensory language of belonging.
At the heart of this story are their children — Alice, who continues the creative vision; Andrea, who brings his love of gastronomy; and Agata, whose humanitarian work in Africa extends the family’s ethos of care.
And then there is Roger, ten years old, who lives with them — a daily reminder that art, like love, is most powerful when shared.
Even the family dogs, Vaquita and Ella, are part of this continuum — living symbols of joy and constancy.
The Spirit of Continuity

“The Magic Collection was never about luxury,” Mia says. “It was born from the desire to protect the gestures and voices of those who create, and to honour them with life.”
What she and Alfredo have built is not a collection of properties, but of moments — moments of art, friendship, and gratitude woven into homes that will outlive them.
Each house is a page in an ongoing story — one that future generations will inherit not as monuments, but as living memories.
A Living Museum of Love
To stay in a Magic home is to inhabit an atmosphere of timeless generosity.
It’s where art is not displayed but shared, where walls remember, and where hospitality is a language of tenderness.
It is, simply, a living museum of love — a sanctuary where beauty, memory, and care exist as one continuous act.
