From spellbinding Halloween celebrations to the first Christmas in World of Frozen, Disneyland Paris is preparing for a spectacular end to 2026.
As summer fades, Disneyland Paris is getting ready for two of its most atmospheric seasons of the year. From late September through early January, the resort will move from the playful thrills of the Disney Halloween Festival into the lights, music and winter magic of Disney Enchanted Christmas — with new decorations, seasonal entertainment and character encounters across its parks.
This year also brings a major first: Christmas will arrive in the kingdom of Arendelle, as World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World celebrates its first festive season.
Halloween Returns to Disneyland Paris
From 26 September to 1 November 2026, Disneyland Park will once again transform for the Disney Halloween Festival.
Main Street, U.S.A. will welcome new Victorian-inspired decorations, pumpkins, candles and seasonal projections, while Mickey and friends appear in new Halloween outfits. Mickey takes on the role of a mystical count, Minnie becomes a little witch, Donald appears as a vampire and Daisy as a bat-inspired lady.
Disney Villains including Maleficent, Cruella, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier will also return, alongside Jack Skellington and Sally.
One of the season’s centrepieces will be Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, a four-float cavalcade filled with pumpkins, lanterns, music and Disney Characters, ending with Mickey aboard the Manor of Illusions.
A More Immersive Halloween
The transformation extends beyond the parade.
Frontierland’s Lucky Nugget Saloon will once again become The Unlucky Nugget Saloon, drawing inspiration from Phantom Manor and introducing an expanded themed experience across both floors.
Seasonal dishes will appear across the resort too, including creations inspired by Disney Villains and Halloween mischief, while attractions such as Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror offer another way to embrace the darker side of Disney.
Halloween reaches its finale on 31 October, when Disneyland Paris stays open until 11pm with special character appearances, treats and a unique fireworks show. It is also the only day of the year when guests of all ages are invited to visit the parks in costume, subject to Disneyland Paris costume guidelines.
Then Comes the Magic of Christmas
Just days later, pumpkins give way to snowflakes.
From 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, Disney Enchanted Christmas returns with its familiar mix of lights, decorations, festive entertainment and character encounters.
At Disneyland Park, Main Street, U.S.A. will sparkle beneath Christmas decorations and its towering 24-metre Christmas tree, while the award-winning Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade returns with illuminated floats, Disney Characters and Santa Claus.
Guests will also be able to enjoy Let’s Sing Christmas!, featuring Mickey, Minnie and friends, alongside a new musical celebration at Castle Stage with Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus.
The First Christmas in World of Frozen
The biggest addition for 2026 comes at Disney Adventure World, where the kingdom of Arendelle will celebrate Christmas for the very first time.
Inspired by Scandinavian traditions, World of Frozen will be decorated with Nordic-style ornaments and a festive Christmas tree, creating a winter setting around the colourful village and North Mountain.
Throughout the day, The Arendelle Carollers will perform alongside Olaf, Anna and Elsa, with songs from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure accompanied by falling snow across the village.
At Arendelle Bay, Anna and Elsa will also appear in new winter outfits for Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa, while Kristoff joins the people of Arendelle to meet guests for the first time as part of the seasonal celebrations.
Festive food inspired by the flavours of the Far North and Scandinavian-style souvenirs will complete the experience.
Two Parks, Two New Year's Eve Celebrations
The festive season concludes with another first.
On 31 December 2026, both Disneyland Paris parks will host their own New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Disney Adventure World will feature parties throughout the park before a drone and fireworks show above World of Frozen, while Disneyland Park will welcome the new year with Disney Characters, DJ parties and midnight fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle.
From autumn chills to Christmas snow, Disneyland Paris is turning the final months of 2026 into one continuous celebration — and for visitors discovering the new World of Frozen, this year’s festive season brings something genuinely new to the destination.
